WASHINGTON D.C. ~ Six suspects in an international car theft ring were arrested by federal and Washington D.C. area authorities on Wednesday, who are alleged to have used technology to steal over 100 vehicles.
U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro said in a press conference that instead of using destructive methods of breaking into cars, these suspects used a device called an autel to reprogram cars to use a different keyfob than the owner’s.
