DETROIT ~ Coming off a 20-17 win over Green Bay, the Detroit Lions enter Sunday’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings looking to build on their 4-2 start and strengthen their position in the NFC North. Detroit has averaged 31.75 points in its four victories this season, thanks in part to a balanced offense led by quarterback Jared Goff and running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who rushed for 116 yards in last week’s win.
The challenge will be significant against a Vikings team that enters the game with a 6-0 record, making this one of the biggest early-season tests on Detroit’s schedule. For Lions fans, the game is an opportunity to see whether Detroit can continue its strong play against one of the NFL’s hottest teams while taking another step toward a potential playoff berth.
