DETROIT, MICH. ~ After U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens lost in the Democratic primary race for Senate to Abdul El-Sayed, she publicly voiced her support for him. But now, her fiancé, Jason Turkish, has gone public with his backing of the Republican candidate Mike Rogers.
The Jewish Democrat Turkish appeared in Birmingham last night at a Rogers event sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition at the Townsend Hotel. He claimed that El-Sayed’s anti-Israel rhetoric is harmful to his community.
