YPSILANTI, MICH. ~ Over the past month, three deaths have been reported at the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility.
The three women who have been killed have been identified as Ashley Hoath, Khaira Howard, and Rebecca Fackler. The Michigan Department of Corrections is currently investigating all three causes of death. Hoath died Saturday morning after being taken to the hospital in the most recent report.
Once the autopsies are handled, MDOC Director Heidi Washington said they will share information on the causes of death in a statement.
