760 WJR Named Station of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters

DETROIT, May 16, 2026 ~ 760 WJR has been named Market One Commercial Radio Station of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

The honor came Saturday night during the MAB’s Broadcast Excellence Awards, an annual red-carpet black-tie gala that was held at Sound Board inside MotorCity Casino Hotel.

In addition to winning Station of The Year, 760 WJR also picked up 11 “Best” awards including “Best Breaking News Story,” “Best Continuing Coverage” and “Best Investigative Story.” WJR also received 10 Merit awards.

In her acceptance speech, WJR Program Director Ann Thomas said “she has tremendous gratitude for the wonderful team at 760 WJR.”
