LOMAS BROWN
HOST

Lomas Brown played for 18 seasons in the NFL as an offensive tackle. His rise through the ranks started as a college player for the University of Florida, where he earned honors through the 1984 season that included the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, appointment as a Consensus All-American, and was named first-team All-SEC after performing as one of the best players in the conference. Brown went on to be drafted by the Detroit Lions sixth overall in the first round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He played for the Lions over 11 seasons, earning six Pro Bowl selections (seven total in his career), and was chosen as first-team All-Pro in 1995.

Lomas subsequently played for the Arizona Cardinals (1996–1998), the Cleveland Browns (1999), the New York Giants (2000–2001), and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002), with whom he won Super Bowl XXXVII before retiring.  Today, Brown serves as the color commentator for Detroit Lions radio broadcasts, a role he has held since 2018. He will be inducted into the Pride of The Lions on October 20, 2023, a permanent hall-of-fame-style display at Ford Field that honors the greatest players in the franchise’s history.
