
FERNDALE, Mich. ~ Ford plans to showcase a range of new vehicles and enthusiast experiences during this weekend’s Woodward Dream Cruise, highlighted by the debut of the Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible.
Natalie Simon, Ford’s customer ownership and experience Manager, said the new Mustang will be revealed Friday at East Nine Mile Road near Mustang Alley in Ferndale. “It is the most powerful Mustang Convertible we’ve ever built,” Simon said. “Under the hood is a 5.2-liter V8 engine making 795 horsepower.”

(CONTINUED) Beyond the Mustang reveal, Ford will feature displays at Mustang Alley and the Bronco Corral, where attendees can meet engineers and product specialists, view heritage vehicles, and see racing and specialty Broncos. Simon said the event offers enthusiasts a chance to learn directly from the teams responsible for developing Ford vehicles and provides valuable customer feedback to the company.
Ford also plans to showcase the Bronco Filson edition, which is making its Detroit debut during Dream Cruise weekend. Simon described the vehicle as Ford’s “nod to luxury,” featuring a standard Sasquatch package, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and other premium amenities. Ford’s electric vehicle lineup, including the Mustang Mach-E, will also be represented during the event, which runs through Saturday evening.
