Aug. 27, 2026 ~ Chris Renwick and Lloyd Jackson check in with ClutchPoints.com Reporter, Eric Vincent, about the latest news coming out of Detroit Lions Training Camp.
ALLEN PARK, MICH. ~ Detroit Lions’ Head Coach Dan Campbell had plenty of injury updates to share before the final practice of Training Camp for Detroit Thursday afternoon.
Campbell told the media that rookie defensive end Derrick Moore will be out “a little bit,” while running back Isiah Pacheco is dealing with a back injury that will continue to keep him sidelined.
In regard to defensive end Ahmed Hassanein’s injury, Campbell had a positive update, stating that he is trending in the right direction.
There are also decisions to be made about safeties Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch as they recover from significant injuries. If the team decides to keep both Joseph and Branch on the Physically Unable to Perform List to start the regular season, they will not count against the 53-man roster limit, but they will be forced miss at least the first four games of the season.
The Lions will head to Indianapolis for the final game of the preseason against the Colts on Saturday at 1 p.m. Roster cuts will be finalized by Sunday at 6 p.m.
