DETROIT ~ Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel joined WJR Thursday from the Detroit Auto Show to discuss the impact the automotive industry has on the county.
“When you look at the economic impact of Macomb County, back 15 years ago, we had about a $33 billion economy,” Hackel said. “Today, 15 years later, we’re looking at a $54 billion economy in Macomb County, and again, manufacturing, automotive, defense, I think that’s what leads that.“
