WASHINGTON D.C., May 5, 2025 ~ GOP Congressman John James (MI-10) co-sponsored a bill that passed the U.S. House last week that aims to strengthen the country’s supply chain.
The Promoting Resilient Supply Chains Act was sponsored by James and Democrat Congressman Pat Ryan (NY-18), which would create a public-private partnership to create more manufacturing jobs and spur domestic production. “We increase access and opportunity for American workers, but also in the worst of times, make sure that we are not dependent on our adversaries, or that we don’t have too many gaps in coverage for vital things like ventilators, to aircraft carrier parts,” James told WJR.
