Jennifer Crumbley Trial: Former Boss Says She Asked Him to Not Judge Her the Day of Her Son’s Shooting

PONTIAC, MI, Jan. 30, 2024 ~ More details were revealed at the Tuesday hearing of Jennifer Crumbley about how she reacted on the day her son, Ethan Crumbley, opened fire in Oxford High School.

Work colleagues and school officials took the stand in Jennifer Crumbley’s involuntary manslaughter trial in Pontiac, which looks to determine if she should face responsibility for her son’s shooting that killed four students and injured seven others. Her former boss at a real estate firm, Andrew Smith, testified that he could hear her screaming down the hall in his office about there being an active shooting at her son’s school. After learning the shooter was her son, she later begged him over text to not judge her and said she needed to keep her job.
