PONTIAC, April 9, 2024 ~ The historic case of Jennifer and James Crumbley concluded Tuesday afternoon, with the parents of the Oxford High School shooter each sentenced to 10-15 years in prison.

Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Cheryl Matthews sentenced the parents after they were both convicted in separate trials over their roles in their son Ethan’s 2021 shooting that killed four of his classmates and injured seven others. James Crumbley purchased the gun his son used to commit the school shooting, and both parents were seen as neglectful of their son’s mental health.
