Oakland County Sheriff’s Office First in the Nation to Use Opvee Drug that Reverses Fentynal Overdoses

OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN, NOV. 13, 2023 ~ The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office will be the first law enforcement agency in the country to implement the use of Opvee, a nasal spray that deputies will use to reverse fentanyl overdoses. The spray is similar to Narcan, though Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said that Opvee is more effective than Narcan.
