Mobility Spawns New Academic Discipline

There will be a new look for engineering students at Wayne state University this fall.
The students will be able to enroll in classes on autonomous driving and mobility standards.

The classes are designed to focus on developing a talent pool for the future of the auto industry.

Wayne State will offer a broad set of graduate degrees focusing on self-driving technology.

Some classes will also be available to undergraduates.

The university recently hired several faculty members with expertise in the new technology.
