HOST:

MIKE PARSONS

Mike Parsons began his radio career at 88.3 WXOU, Oakland University‘s campus radio station in the summer of 2005, where he ran out of material 10 minutes into his first hour long talk show.  Things have slightly improved since then …

Mike went on to intern for the “Jim Harper Magic Morning Show” in the winter of 2007 before being hired at WJR in November of that same year.  Over the years, Mike has done traffic for select cities in Ohio, engineered live broadcasts, and helped launch syndicated weekend programming before becoming the full time board operator for “The Guy Gordon Show” in early 2017.

Along with his duties on “The Guy Gordon Show,” Mike co-produces WJR’s annual “War of the Worlds” and “Christmas Carol” live broadcasts alongside Rich Luzenski.
