ABOUT THE HOSTS:

MIKE PARSONS

Mike Parsons began his radio career at WXOU, Oakland University’s campus radio station, in the summer of 2005. He ran out of material 10 minutes into his first hour long talk show. Things have slightly improved since then …

Mike went on to intern for the “Jim Harper Magic Morning Show” in the winter of 2007 before being hired at 760 WJR in November of that same year. Over the years, Mike has done traffic for select cities in Ohio, engineered live broadcasts, and helped launch syndicated weekend programming before becoming the full-time board operator for “The Guy Gordon Show” in early 2017.

Today, Mike works as technical director on “JR Mornings with Guy Gordon,” while also helming his own show, “First Thing with Mike Parsons,” which airs weekdays from 5 to 6 a.m. on 760 WJR.
