TOM JORDAN
HOST

Tom Jordan is a multiple EmmyEdward R. Murrow, and AP award-winning journalist, serving as a news anchor and reporter in various regions of the country. He has spent the past eight years in Detroit, a place he now considers “home-for-life.” Tom has also worked as a TV news anchor in San DiegoPalm Springs, and Washington state. 

In his more than two-decade career, Tom has covered a variety of stories: multiple presidential campaigns; historic wildfires; on-site coverage for NBC News on the death of former president Gerald Ford; the Olympics; the US economy, and more. His Emmy wins include his day-of anchoring coverage of the September 11 terrorist attacks and the subsequent invasion of Afghanistan. He was also awarded an Emmy for best coverage of devastating California wildfires, an Edward R. Murrow award in 2015 for best newscast, and Associated Press awards for a variety of special reports.

Tom is married to his wife of more than 25 years and has four children. He has been actively involved a number charities and also serves to meet real felt-needs – locally and internationally – through his partnerships and his church.


KEVIN DIETZ
HOST

Kevin Dietz is one of the country’s great storytellers. His charismatic personality and unique ability to connect with people allows him to share emotional and authentic stories that inspire change.

Kevin served as the lead investigative reporter for WDIV-TV in DetroitMichigan for more than two decades. Kevin is among the most honored in the State’s history, with 17 Michigan Emmys, more than a dozen Michigan Association of Broadcasters awards, two regional Edward R. Murrow awards, two Wade McCree Jr. Statewide Justice Awards, and is the first-ever recipient of the Roger Weber Award for Integrity in Journalism.

Kevin is a life-long Detroiter. He was born in Detroit, grew up in Bloomfield Hills, attended high school at Birmingham Brother Rice, and graduated from Western Michigan University. He has had a 26+ year career as an investigative reporter in Detroit. Today, Kevin runs his own company, helping organizations navigate the media, tell compassionate stories, and make the necessary connections that can truly make a difference.


LAURA HESSEN
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Laura Hessen is the executive producer of All Talk with Tom Jordan and Kevin Dietz heard weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon on 760 WJR.

After graduating from Oakland University in 2015, Laura began her career at 760 WJR as an intern with “The Paul W. Smith Show and “The Frank Beckmann Show.” She was later hired as a producer and continues to produce special events at WJR. She also spent some time working for WJR’s sister station, 96.3 WDVD.

In 2017, Laura became the executive producer of “The Guy Gordon Show” when it was introduced on 760 WJR, and remained in that role until the launch of “All Talk with Tom Jordan and Kevin Dietz” in late 2021.
