Meldrum Community Center to be Renovated into Refettorio Detroit

DETROIT, MICH. ~ The Capuchin Soup Kitchen is partnering with global nonprofit Food for the Soul to renovate the Meldrum Community Center into Refettorio Detroit.

The $2.4 million project brings a restaurant experience to whoever comes through the door, as the Refettorio model serves guests a three-course meal each day.

The new location will stay on Meldrum and St. Paul, as people are currently being served in a fortified tent that has been there since June.
