STERLING HEIGHTS, MICH. ~ U.S. Vice President JD Vance is in attendance for a campaign event at Universal Contracting and Urban Tree Trimming at 6570 19 Mile Road as the 2026 November midterm elections are right around the corner.
The political action committee MAGA Inc. is hosting the event, and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Rogers and Republican gubernatorial candidate John James, among other notable Republican representatives, shared remarks on stage to preview Vance’s speech.
This is the first time Vance is back in Michigan since his trip to Auburn Hills in March. U.S. President Donald Trump recently visited the state as well, speaking at the GM Milford Proving Ground in late July.
Michigan’s midterm general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 3.
