WASHINGTON, D.C. ~ U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed in a Truth Social post Wednesday afternoon that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will be leaving her role at the end of the month to spend more time with her husband and two young children, one of which was born in May. She will transition into a new role as an “outside advisor” for Trump.
“Karoline has been a real leader in the White House, and has done a phenomenal job fighting for Justice, Liberty, and Freedom, since 2018, including our Historic Re-Election Campaign of 2024,” Trump said in the post.
Leavitt, the youngest press secretary every, started in the role in January 2025 when Trump returned for his second term. It has yet to be announced who will fill her shoes once September rolls around.
