MICHIGAN ~ President Donald Trump made an announcement Monday, endorsing U.S. Rep. John James (MI-10) in the GOP primary for governor.
“It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Congressman, John James, who is running to become the next Governor of the Beautiful State of Michigan!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “John James has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Governor of Michigan — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!”
James accepted the endorsement, writing on X that, “Thank you, President Donald J. Trump. The greatest President of my lifetime. Your endorsement is igniting a movement across Michigan, and we are ready to win!”
James currently maintains a small lead over former attorney general Mike Cox and millionaire businessman Perry Johnson in the polls.
