METRO DETROIT, MICH. ~ Multiple cities in Metro Detroit are not happy with Priority Waste, as customers have been reporting missed and or delayed trash pickups.
Dearborn Heights has threatened to file a lawsuit along with not paying part of their bill while St. Clair Shores announced that they voted to not renew their contract with the company after it ends in June.
An investigation has been started by Michigan’s Environment, Great Lakes and Energy department to look into environmental concerns caused by Priority.
Priority Waste sent an apology letter to customers for recent mishaps as the company undergoes major leadership changes. Aaron Johnson was named CEO on Monday, June 1.
