ROMULUS, MICH. ~ For the second time this year, a vehicle has crashed into Detroit Metro Airport.
The wreck happened Friday morning at Door 4 of the Warren Cleage Evans Terminal. The man who drove the SUV through the lobby of the building was taken into custody. No serious injuries were reported from the scene.
The driver was able to maneuver through the barriers that were placed in the area after the Jan. 23 incident at the McNamara Terminal.
While some flyers faced a delay in their travels, DTW returned to its normal schedule nearly two hours after the crash happened at 9:40 a.m.
