DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MICH. ~ For over twenty years, Vista Maria, a child welfare agency, has allegedly abused young girls, a lawsuit filed Monday, April 13, in Wayne County Circuit Court claims. Five women and one girl, who were minors when they were brought to the nonprofit, took the civil lawsuit forward, as the two firms filing the suit, Grewal Law in Okemos and Moose Law in Farmington Hills, claim that there are even more cases, according to the Detroit Free Press. Due to the timeliness of some of the other cases, they had to be thrown out. The two firms are currently trying to obtain police reports of criminal investigations related to Vista Maria.
