DETROIT ~ After a second “teen takeover” in two weeks took place in Downtown Detroit, business owners are sounding concerns over the trend.
Large groups of teenagers ran around the area March 31 and April 4, causing “chaos” downtown, though no injuries were reported. However, as rumours swirl online of more potential “teen takovers,” businesses in the area are worried about potential acts of violence, and police patrols have increased since the incidents.
