DETROIT, MICH. ~ The Detroit Pistons claimed their first Central Division title since 2008 in a 127-116 win over the Toronto Raptors at Little Caesars Arena Tuesday night. Without All-Star guard Cade Cunningham, who is dealing with a collapsed lung, Detroit All-Star center Jalen Duren has been shouldering the load. Duren notched 31 points and nine rebounds against a Toronto team who is fighting for postseason positioning. Detroit became the first Eastern Conference team to clinch a playoff spot in late March, marking the second consecutive season of late-April basketball for the Pistons.
