JUPITER, FLA. ~ After last week’s rollover crash, which followed with a DUI arrest, Tiger Woods announced Tuesday on X that he will be “stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment.” According to a probable cause affidavit, two hydrocodone pills were found in his left pant pocket. Woods pleaded not guilty to charges from the crash. In 2017, Woods was arrested after he was found asleep at the wheel on the side of the road. The toxicology report found hydrocodone, among other substances, in his system. Woods will not be seeing a professional golf course for the foreseeable future, as The Masters also posted on X that Woods will not be making an appearance at Augusta National next week. Woods, a 15-time major winner, made his return to competitive golf last week at the TGL Finals, hitting a total of nine shots.
