WASHINGTON D.C. ~ Birthright citizenship is at risk this week, with the U.S. Supreme Court set to decide on whether President Donald Trump’s executive order on the matter is legal.
The justices will convene on Wednesday to hear arguments on the legality of Trump’s order to end birthright citizenship, which he signed on day one of his second term. The central question in the case will be whether children born to non-citizens or temporary residents in the U.S. get full citizenship under the 14th Amendment.
