DETROIT, MICH. ~ The MLB has moved on from Chevrolet as its official automotive partner, as Ford Motor Co. announced Monday that the brand and league agreed to a multi-year deal to start a new era. Chevy had been with the MLB for over 20 years, and now Ford will partner with not just Major League Baseball, but also the Minor and Little Leagues. With this move, Ford continues to prove itself as a national brand, as it already had 10 deals with ballparks and teams across the country. Time Magazine recently named Ford as America’s Most Iconic Brand, and this deal with the league of America’s national pastime cements that title.
