MICHIGAN ~ Southeast Michigan was under a cold weather advisory through Friday morning, capping off a week of Arctic air hanging over the state before becoming slightly less cold over the weekend.
Wind chills are expected to be especially cold, expecting to drop below zero degrees in some areas in the coming days. Weather forecasts show that temperatures will rise slightly, though remain frigid, only rising to the high teens or low twenties. No weather warnings have been issued for the region past 10 a.m. Friday.
