Jan. 21, 2026 ~ United States House Speaker Mike Johnson became the first ever House Speaker to address British Parliament on Tuesday, in an attempt to calm tensions between European leaders and U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump threatened 10% tariffs to eight countries that opposed Trump’s plan for control of Greenland. “The tone was absolutely conciliatory, referring to the things which bring the U.S. and the U.K. together, the shared history, the shared security cooperation, fighting on the same side in multiple wars and facing now common threats from the likes of China, Russia, and Iran,” Jonathan Savage, Fox News correspondent said on “All Talk.”
