DETROIT, MI ~ Now that Mary Sheffield has taken over the reigns as mayor of Detroit, former Mayor Mike Duggan has now officially shifted his focus to the 2026 race for Michigan governor. Duggan made an appearance on “‘JR Afternoon” to talk about the months leading up to the Democratic and Republican primary elections on Aug. 4, 2026.
