DETROIT, MI ~ 2025 saw data center news flood headlines across Southeast Michigan, and plans for 2026 are expected to keep rolling, even though local communities share concerns with the projects. For Big Tech giants like OpenAI and Oracle, they are looking to push through with their 2.2-million square foot “Stargate” data center. Other projects are also popping up in the Southeast part of the state. CEO of Awecomm Technologies Brent Yax joined “Focus with Paul W. Smith” to discuss more.
