Dec. 4, 2025 ~ U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation Steven Bradbury joins ‘JR Morning to discuss Trump’s announcement on relaxed fuel economy standards for the more than 15 million new cars and trucks sold in the country every year.

WASHINGTON D.C. ~ The Trump administration announced Wednesday that the U.S. Department of Transportation would reduce fuel economy standards in an attempt to curb rising costs for new vehicles, undoing a Biden-era policy. The previous administration made stricter vehicle rules to reduce carbon emissions due to climate change, but President Donald Trump claims that this policy drove up car prices.
