WASHINGTON D.C. ~ The Trump administration announced Wednesday that the U.S. Department of Transportation would reduce fuel economy standards in an attempt to curb rising costs for new vehicles, undoing a Biden-era policy. The previous administration made stricter vehicle rules to reduce carbon emissions due to climate change, but President Donald Trump claims that this policy drove up car prices.
