Dec. 2, 2025 ~ Jessica Jermakian, vice president of vehicle research at Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, joins “‘JR Morning” to discuss the DOT completing designs for a first of its kind female crash test dummy.

DETROIT, MI ~ For the first time ever, the United States Department of Transportation has completed a design for a female crash test dummy. The model will concentrate on the areas where women receive the most injuries. Jessica Jermakian, vice president of vehicle research at Insurance Institute for Highway Safety talked with Chris Renwick, Lloyd Jackson, and Jamie Edmonds about the historic news.
