LANSING ~ Road to Michigan’s Future, a nonprofit with ties to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, saw about $7.78 million from secret donors in 2024. In an article published by the Detroit News, a tax document not only revealed the donations, but also found that the nonprofit hired former Whitmer campaign staff as employees.
