DETROIT, MI ~ Catholic churches have been struggling to get people in pews and priests to lead communities, and the Archdiocese of Detroit is aiming to improve these issues. Father Mario Amore and the Archdiocese is attempting to reverse this trend in Southeastern Michigan over a two-year restructuring period, which may involve the closing of some parishes.
