Construction Continues on I-696 As Westbound Phase Begins Next Week

METRO DETROIT ~ As road work continues on I-696, road crews are set to start the next phase of construction.

Work on the eastbound side of I-696 from M-10 to I-75 has been going on since March and is nearing completion, now ready to switch over to the westbound side of the same stretch of interstate. This will close five ramps on the westbound side until late 2026.
