WASHINGTON D.C. ~ On Wednesday evening, President Donald Trump signed a funding bill to end the longest federal government shutdown in history at 43 days.
After eight Senate Democrats caved and voted in favor of the GOP‘s funding bill, it was sent back to the House on Wednesday, where the Republican-controlled chamber passed it on to Trump. The bill will fund the government through Jan. 30.
