LANSING ~ A Michigan lawmaker wants to provide materials to parents of students to inform them of the risks of vaping, cannabis, and tobacco use. State Sen. Dayna Polehanki (D-Livonia) introduced the bill this week in the Michigan Senate Education Committee, which she chairs, with the material beginning to be passed out during the 2026-27 school year if passed.
