DETROIT, March 6, 2025 ~ The Trump administration has agreed to delay tariffs on vehicles made in North America after the Big Three Detroit automakers called the president.
President Donald Trump implemented 25% tariffs on Canadian and Mexican goods on Tuesday, causing concerns over the rising consumer prices of vehicles produced in these countries. Ford Motor Co., General Motors, and Stellantis got Trump to agree on delaying tariffs on vehicles made in compliance with trade agreements between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
