Police in Montana and Michigan are investigating the discovery of bones and teeth that are believed to be those of 3 children ages 10 and younger. Police are trying to determine if these are the missing boys from Morenci, Michigan. The discovery was made in a shed at a house where authorities say a man had been evicted. the bones were sent out for testing at a crime lab. The remains are loose teeth, bones from a lower jaw, and other pieces of bone.
The 3 brothers were last seen in late November 2010. They disappeared while in the custody of their father. The parents were going through a divorce.
The father, John Skelton, told police he gave the boys to a group for protection against their mother. Police say his story has changed several times.
John Skelton is in prison in Michigan for unlawful imprisonment of the children.
