DETROIT, MICH. ~ Detroit Lions’ linebacker Jack Campbell went limp on the field in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 19-15 win over the Minnesota Vikings and was strapped to a backboard and transported to a local hospital for evaluation of a serious neck injury.
Campbell was reportedly alert and breathing while being carted off the field, and the Lions shared a positive update Monday afternoon that Campbell would remain resting at a local hospital.
“Your prayers are working, please continue to pray for him, but it is positive news on Jack,” Detroit head coach Dan Campbell said at a press conference Monday afternoon.
