DETROIT ~ Community leaders, volunteers and parade supporters gathered in downtown Detroit for The Parade Company’s annual Pancake Breakfast, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, as excitement built ahead of the holiday season. The event gave attendees a chance to celebrate a longstanding tradition that has brought families together and helped kick off preparations for America’s Thanksgiving Parade.
Organizers highlighted the work that goes into producing one of Detroit’s most recognizable events while recognizing the volunteers and sponsors who help make it possible. For many in attendance, the breakfast served as a reminder that the parade is about more than floats and entertainment; it is about community pride and creating lasting memories for families across southeast Michigan.
