DETROIT, MICH. ~ Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell remains hospitalized after suffering a serious neck injury during Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings, when he went limp on the field and was removed on a backboard for further evaluation. During a radio interview Tuesday morning, Lions coach Dan Campbell offered an encouraging update, saying, “The good news is he is improving.”
The injury sent shockwaves through the Lions organization and fan base, shifting attention away from the game and toward Campbell’s recovery. While no timetable for his return has been announced, the positive update has provided hope as one of Detroit’s key defensive leaders continues to be monitored.
