WASHINGTON ~ Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Washington this week for a high-profile summit with President Donald Trump, bringing the leaders of the world’s two largest economies together amid discussions about trade, artificial intelligence and international security. The visit includes meetings at the White House and a state dinner attended by business and technology leaders.
While major breakthroughs are not expected, the talks come as the United States and China work to maintain a trade truce and navigate differences over Taiwan, artificial intelligence and global conflicts.
