DETROIT ~ For many Americans, concerns about the country’s future often come back to everyday challenges such as rising costs, government spending and political division. Bill O’Reilly said the United States still offers opportunities for people willing to work hard, but argued that leaders must do more to address issues affecting families, workers and communities, including the national debt, immigration and education.
O’Reilly also discussed political divisions in Michigan and across the country, saying many voters are increasingly aligning themselves along partisan lines. He argued that affordability remains the biggest concern for many households ahead of the November election, with families paying closer attention to the cost of everyday necessities than political debates.
“We’re a country of drifting right now, and everything is based on whether you like Trump or you hate Trump,” O’Reilly said.
