Aug. 25, 2026 ~ Chris Renwick and Lloyd Jackson speak with George Doninni, a white-collar criminal defense attorney with Butzel, about the Lindsay Clancy case.
PLYMOUTH, MA ~ The trial for Lindsay Clancy is expected to enter its final stages soon, with final witness testimonies and closing arguments set to take place this week.
The nearly month-long murder trial has largely focused on Clancy’s mental state at the time she killed her three young children in 2023. The defense claims that she was experiencing auditory hallucinations due to postpartum psychosis, and thus should not be held criminally responsible for her actions. The prosecution alleges that she planned the killings beforehand, sent her husband out on errands, then strangled her children before attempting suicide.
The trial is set to resume Tuesday with more expert testimony from psychologist Kirk Heilbrun.
