
IRAN ~ The U.S. launched a new barrage of strikes on Iran on Wednesday, continuing a series of strikes after the recent breakdown of a ceasefire deal between the nations.
Seven soldiers and 30 civilians were reported killed in the last few days by U.S. strikes in Iran. Iranian officials later announced that it launched retaliatory attacks against U.S. military targets in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.
The Strait of Hormuz continues to be a sticking point in the war, with Iran and the fightoing fighting for control of shipping vessels through the water that is vital to a large chunk of the global oil supply. The U.S. reinstated a blockade on the strait.
