IRAN ~ Conflicting statements create a cloud of uncertainty for direct U.S.-Iran talks Tuesday following a weekend of trading strikes in the Strait of Hormuz.
The strikes tested a tentative ceasefire and peace negotiations between the nations that began earlier this month, with President Donald Trump claiming another round of direct negotiations is set for Tuesday in Doha. However, Iranian officials said that no “technical talks” are currently scheduled in Qatar.
Meanwhile, Israel continues its military assaults on both Gaza and Southern Lebanon.
